Obama requested an additional $200 billion in spending for "stimulus" as part of his negotiations (was that reported in the Star Tribune?). Not only is Obama and his Democrats in Congress NOT CUTTING spending, they are trying to get more spending with "promises" of cuts to future spending. You know, that mythical spending which doesn't occur for years. That's what they will agree to cut: something that does not exist. Oh yeah, Obama also requested $60 billion in "Superstorm Sandy" relief for his Democrat-voting states out there on the east coast. Obama's initial estimate for FY2013 pegged the deficit at $901 billion. He's aiming to blow past $1 trillion for a fifth consecutive year!
