The senior came off the bench and dominated NDSU at both ends of the court as the Gophers rolled to the victory.

Good win tonight and great article Amelia. Might want to dbl check Rodney Williams career high though. I believe he had that stretch last year where he scored 20+ in 4 straight games.

trevor can dominate the PF spot at times when the matchups are favorable; however, until eliason and/or mo walker can establish themselves as true centers, we wont be in the top 25 for long...

Really disappointed in the performance of Eliason, Walker and Osieneks. Why is he even on the team. Just watching Eliason running around aimlessly out there makes me wonder why he is on the team! I thought everyone had said he had improved!!!

johnnycash90: unless the article was edited, she stated it was Rodney's season high, not his career high.

Eliason is out there 'roaming around' setting screens for everyone else. It's called team play. Walker, on the other hand, looks like he needs to hone his skills under the basket. Ouch! I was hoping to see him with more skills by now.

an 11 day break and then we play a pretty bad team. then an 8 day break before we play msu on dec 31. that is when mbakwe should start and with the rest he will get between the next games will be a good thing. hopefully he can start to play 30+ min a game because we will need that in the big 10. eliason just isnt a starter but he can be effective playing about 10-15 min off the bench providing energy, defense (if the other team has a slow center), and some rebounding.

Haven't proved anything yet. If they can win on the road with this deep Big Ten Conference, maybe Tubby finally wins a few tournament games.

Mbakwe needs to start with the other starter for this team to have any success in the Big Ten. Eliason was overmatched by the NDSU center. Also, with Mbakwe in there with the starters, way more offensive options open up not so with Eliason who has no offensive abilities.

Amelia I think you are missing an important point as you keep pushing for Mbakwe as a starter. This is a subtle example of good coaching by Tubby. No one has ever doubted Mbakwe's physical talent, but he wasn't making those around him better in his first stint and he hasn't been able to stay out of trouble. Tubby is making him focus on other parts of his game, and earn his way back while keeping a close reign on him hoping he won't mess with the rest of the team's good chemistry.
