Twins' search for free-agent pitching isn't over yet

Even after Kevin Correia's deal is finished, the rotation will have plenty of candidates for the final few spots.

i'd like to see deduno make the rotation. he has the stuff to be dominant at times if he can command his pitches.

Mediocrity will not elevate one of the worst teams in baseball.

Still believe a pitcher of interest will be signed. Not saying a top of the order guy but someone with middle of the pitching rotation capability. We will have to wait for a couple of those young flame throwers to move up to get that top of the order pitcher. (2014) Gibson could see some major league action this year, but I think the organization will set a limit on the innings he pitches this year.

I'm willing to bet that Correia can't hack it in the AL. He's going to be eaten alive by lineups like the Chicago, KC, and Detroit. Worst part is they gave the guy a MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT. It's like they said "hey were about to finally be done with that bad Blackburn contract lets see if we can find another."

Terry "The Cowardly Lion" Ryan's back to spinning that black voodoo magic he so often spun in the Roarin' 90s. That Elarton signing...that takes a savvy GM. And the Correia signing? Who could've guessed that Terry would find the 2013 version of Jason Marquis so quickly? Great time to be a Twins fan. Fabulous time.

This move will be fine with me if they go out and get Saunders and Lannon. Correia would be the #5 guy.

The Headline should say: Twins Search for mediocre free-agent pitching in the dumpsters of MLB isn't over yet. I have no problem with them signing this guy or trading for others, but Ryan needs to stop lying to himself about being competitive. I bet they use whatever pretend salary cap they have on similar garbage time pitchers. If not, I will be shocked.

With the new stadium and all the money they've dropped by losing Baker, Pavano, Capps, Liriano, and Span, I think the Twins owe their fans Annabel Sanchez. The Twins need at least a #2 caliber starter.
