Love is the second player in franchise history who has attained sustainable stardom. The Wolves need him a lot more than he needs them.

I wish my boss would alienate me by paying me $60+ mil guaranteed. I love Love as a player but come on man...really...NOW!

Jim. at last. In sports conversations we spend an inordinate amount of time commenting negatively about players and coaches/managers. The fault of sports franchises start with smart front office personnel. Unfortunately, that is where it often ends - The Wolves and Twins are prime examples

The guy is going to make $60+ what. Do you think that's hush money or something? That doesn't give his boss any right to disrespect him. Money can't buy happiness my friend.

Love is all you need, Love is all you need, Love is all you need, Love is all you need.

I dont believe a word Love says, even though this article doesnt say what he said. But being handed a contract in the training room. I dont believe it for a minute. I am pretty sure Love has an agent, and agents receive the contracts from ownership to review with their client. Loves always been a whiner so its just more of the same. I think they T-Wolves have nice team right now so I dont know what Souhan is talking about. I know the media is jealous of Kahn because he used to be one of them, so that's certainly part of it. Another puzzling thing is the media, including Souhan, pick and choose when they want to hold Kahn accountable but not Adelman when they all routinely say that Adelman is actually the guy in charge. So if your gonna rip Kahn right now, then you've got to rip Adelman. But, like I said, I think the team is in pretty damn good shape right now. All teams go through poor draft picks, trades, etc. Look who wound up with Beasley, Darko, Randolph, Wes Johnson. Teams do the same things, so get over it. Team is looking good right now. Back to Love, he represents everything I hate about professional sports.

Classless move by Kahn. Kahn!!! a GM really doesnt belong in the locker room after a loss. his direct report is the head coach. call him into your office the next day, don't go into a locker room and berate players in a sport it's very likely you didn't play well. Love will be gone as soon as he can go. He'll be on the west coast catching rays.

Why now? Things are looking up for the Wolves and Taylor is trying to set-up a sale to someone to get OUT of basketball. Love is a good player, he's a GREAT whiner though. Not only on the court but off it too. The Wolves have had a better record WITHOUT him this year. Maybe that's why he's out whining in public again. He doesn't want to mess-up his chance getting that L.A. contract.

rustyscupper---good point. in the Love/Kahn mix, someone is an idiot. sooner or later, it will be fully revealed.

yathinksoDec. 11, 12 9:15 PM

It is clear Kahn is the idiot...and has been for years. Taylor runs a crappy organization and this is just more proof he has no idea how to be an owner.

I hope Love gets so upset that he does more knuckle pushups.
