After 11 years of war, better off under the Taliban?

Sounds like when the US lowered the drinking age to 18 and that caused all kinds of havoc...new found freedoms need to be fought for by all.

I can see how destructive the crime is to their sense of security, but what about the rights of women under the Taliban? Women were much worse off under the Taliban and were slaves to the men who own them. At least now there is some small improvement in hope for women. Education of women is the key.
