Congrats to the Golden Bears! As Starkey stated, volleyball is very strong in Minnesota. CSP is winning the national championships but some of their strongest competition throughout the year comes from UMD, Minnesota State-Mankato, and Southwest State. All these schools do a great job of recruiting Minnesota players who may be just a step below top D1 talent and are choosing to stay in the state to play for good teams vs. going to less talented D1 teams. Good for them and good for Minnesota volleyball!
