I don't get it. The one percent pay a huge amount of taxes. Santa should be berating the 47%ers who take and take and take and don't produce anything.
So, the guy with the bag is the 1%, right?
Ah yes - nice touch in that the guy in the suit has no idea what a socialist is... (hint - in Socialism everybody works and every body gets a living. Capitalism is where everybody works and those who don't make enough to have a living, or don't work, get handouts fondly called charity. See what happens to those who don't work in the socialist countries - the government assigns them a job.)
47% includes the elderly, children, and active military personnel. Those willing to give their life defending our country are "takers"?
The 1% don't count on Santa, they earn it.
They "earn it" on the backs of the people they seem to fight everyday to underpay. We are supposed to be better than China, yet many of our biggest and most popular businesses want to treat us--those who make their products, deliver their supplies, and otherwise make their businesses run successfully--like serfs. That is indefensible.
Re:"They "earn it" on the backs of the people they seem to fight everyday to underpay: - It's a free country; you don't have to work for the Man if you don't want to.
"I don't get it. The one percent pay a huge amount of taxes. Santa should be berating the 47%ers who take and take and take and don't produce anything."..of course you don't get it, that's why the GOP lost and is getting more irrelevant each day...
Giving freely is great, it does a person good. But taking from someone against their will is not giving. It's not 'giving' when politicians are hired to force people to 'give'.
I love it, "it's a free country you don't have to work for the man". Really then what's, "the man" going to do? Actually work rather than earn his living off of everyone else's hard work? If there is no one the to make the bread then there is no one there to buy the bread and then there is no economy. Everyone understand now?
