That should teach Al and Amy to actually read a bill before voting on the bill. But I am sure there will be future episodes of these two "rubber stamping" Obama lead iniatives in blind fatith of their Democrat masters.

Miracle of miracles! After the election Dems discover that raising taxes has a negative impact on employment. What are the chances that after squeezing a few mil out of the medical device manufacturers in donations, they will find some party less connected to pick up the tab.

Pelosi said "We must pass the bill to see what's in the bill" Al and Amy voted for ObamaCare knowing that this was in the bill when they voted, or they failed to read the actual bill. Now they want it both ways. I support ObamaCare but not with taxes on my constituents to pay for it. Both senators failed to listen to the businesses telling them how this was going to affect them when they voted. Sorry Al and Amy, no sympathy here for you.

Pretty late in the game to start this process as the device tax starts January 1st. The state has already lost hundreds of good paying jobs as companies prep for the massive tax hit (over $160,000,000 in additional taxes each and every year for Medtronic alone). This tax was unfair from the get-go as it taxes devices regardless of the profitability of the companies. That makes it especially onerous on smaller companies.

Do these two fools have an alternative revenue source or a recommended cut in spending to cover the $28Billion?

Funny, maybe had our 2 senators taken the time to actually read the bill before voting for it, they would have realized the effect of this tax beforehand. Now we're back to classic politians wanting to spend money on things, but not really wanting to pay for it. Can't have it both ways.

"WE NEED TO PASS A HEALTHCARE BILL so that we can find out what is in it"...so said by the great hard core liberal Nancy Pelosi, we are now finding out what is in it. Speak up libs, defend this medical device tax.

Going against the boss? You had your chance back when you voted yes on all this nonsense. Act in haste, repent at leisure.

Another case of them being for it before they were against it.
