Obama should focus on the federal mess instead of stepping into state affairs.
Obama received loud applause at a Michigan engine plant when he said we shouldn't be "taking away your rights to bargain for better wages and working conditions."----------------------------Wondering where in the legislation is anything that takes away the rights of unions to bargain for better wages and conditions? Anyone out there able to explain that statement.?
Every four years, the President of the United States swears to uphold the fundamentals of freedoms and liberty as outlined in the U.S. Constitution. At the core of those freedoms and liberty is the right to choose. At its core, Right-to-Work is about choice. The right of an individual to choose to join a union. The question I would pose to those not in favor of Right-to-Work legislation, when President Obama spoke in Redford, Michigan this past week, did he speak to the rights of the individual to choose or did he speak pro-union? When the question is answered, seek an understanding of where President Obama stands on his fundamental obligation to which he did and will be swearing.
