Neither Obama or Bush has/had "political capital" in their second term as president

Obama's approval rating is at a five-year high: 57%, while the GOP's approval rating is in the toilet. This translates into "political capital", especially given the mass disdain for how the GOP congress held back progress with its all-out obstructionism. Americans are fed up with their tactics and always putting party politics over the well-being of the nation.

Let Obama show everyone how good he is at running the country (into the ground). Tax the rich isnt a policy, a strategy, or even a logical saying. Obama will run this country into the ground and only a moron would blame it on the republicans - who at least have offered a plan. Obama's plan is tax the rich, get 8 days worth of gov funding - then spend 22o billion more on extending unemployment. Use your head sheeple

"who at least have offered a plan. "............Really?? The GOP had no viable, specific plan for the economy during the campaign - only smoke & mirrors -and it has no "plan" now! They expect to negotiate with the Dems, yet all they offer is headlines. No meat on those bones whatsoever, just as during the campaign. There is no substance, no specifics, no overall plan by the GOP at all. What's new?
