They may be rookies, but Josh Robinson and Harrison Smith have grown up quite a bit on the field.

That makes 2 maybe 3 games Smith has won for the Vikings this year. Where is the guy on here that consistently complained the first month of the season that Smith was a wasted first round draft pick?

Harrison Smith is one of the best draft picks the Vikings have ever had.

Spielman may have missed the mark on Free Agency(with the exception of Felton). But this year's draft was very solid. Kalil, Smith, and Robinson were instant upgrades. The best part is that they'll only get better as things move forward.

Viking fans have waited a long, long time to be excited about stong draft for defensive backs. No position has been harder for the Vikes to upgrade that S/CB. This is cause for optimism more than anything else.

Hey Chip, What is up with our Freshmen Kicker?? I have not seen a touchback for quite a while. Is it by design, or an injury?? More than a little concerning considering we drafted him by a large degree to get touchbacks.

2 of Robinson couldn't cover Marshall. We looked pathetic on most passes to him. We had our backs to the ball and were not even aware of when the ball was thrown because we were out of position consistently.

If your going to talk Freshman or rookies on the Vikings you can't forget the effort week in and week out by the big rig up front, Kahlil is doing great protecting Ponder and opening holes for Purple Jesus. Then the Kicker, holy cow, who would have thunk it, great season. And then the other rookies who are helping this team stay relevant and maybe, just maybe make the playoffs at 9-7. Never say never until it's over. Great job Robinson and Harrison. Now for 2013 draft, we need to use picks in rounds 3,4,5,6 on CB's because we cant seem to stop Marshall, Johnson or any Green bush WR's. Great win Sunday Vikes. I see you beating St. Lou, playing Texas tough and beating green bush at home. Let's Roll.

I believe that Chicago signed Brandon Marshall as a free agent. Given that our receiving corp which may set some sort of record for futility, it sure would have been nice to have Marshall lining up on the outside for the Purple.

Chip, the Robinson pick-6 was not challenged by the Bears. Under the new rules, all scoring plays and change of possession pays are automatically reviewed by the boys in the booth.

Jaytee... the bears traded for marshall to pair him up with cutler.. heck the vikes could have got him, they only gave up a second or third for him.. that's how desperate the dolphins wanted this guy out.
