Okay team, enough of the defensive collapses and odd man rushes. A nice victory on the road, and a Friday night. Really still wondering about the play of Justin Holl. This team will need to get a lot better defensively if they are going win the WCHA. Thankfully Wilcox is turning out to be a major league stud in goal.

Even at 11-3-2 you get the sense that the Gophers have still not hit full stride. The biggest thing so far is that Wilcox has shown that he is a top level WCHA goalie. Once Bjugstad & Rau get cranking on the scoresheets this team could do some damage. The Freshmen are getting better game by game. Serious potential this season...

Colorado College is a good matchup for the Gophers. They play a very similar style with a little less talent. Lets hope the boys aren't satisfied and go for the sweep. GO GOPHERS!

Keep improving, Gophers, and get hungry when leading; there's a tendency to slack off a bit and give up an easy goal.
