Coach Hoffner must have figured this out by now. They are not bringing him back. While there is some truth to the idea of chemistry disruption on the way to the National Championship, that's not the main point. Hoffner is damaged goods. He can't be out there recruiting in the homes of high school students. Some parents will hold the charges against him and therefore against MSU Mankato. There will be a buyout within 30 days of the end of the season and Coach Hoffner will be on his way. The thing that surprises me is that he has not spoken out against the prosecution team or the Sheriff's department. They are the ones that rushed to judgment in this case without the full investigation. I cannot believe Coach Hoffner doesn't have some ill will about this. Maybe after he's gone from MSU-Mankato he will go after them with some stingers. They are proteced from law suits, so there's nothing that can happen with that. One other question: Recalls is this state start at the Governor's desk. Why has Mark Dayton not moved to recall the Blue Earth County prosecutor?
