OK, I don't get it! Griffen is fined for a late hit which everybody said wasn't? Seriously the NFL should apologize for the bad call!

is it all a bunch of b.s., or do the Vikings actually pose a threat to the Bears. Is C.P. for real, or does he actually enjoy throwing interceptions across the body. I am of the opinion that C.P. is a good quarterback and that the defense does indeed know how to manage the clock. that said, I predict a Vikings 23-13 win.

Is this the week that the Vikes finally get a passing attack, to help balance a great running game. Or will the after game press conference go like the same old broken record: Frazier- This was a tough loss for us, the passing game has got to get better, we need to find a way to get the ball down field. Ponder-I have to try to get better,I have to learn from this game and come back next game. The INTs were costly. Sounds like something we have heard before. I realise the Vikes are going to play Ponder the whole season, to see if he has what it takes to be their starter next year. I'd say that he is running out of chances. If you look at the stats in Craig's column it kind of says it all. He is not getting better, he is in fact getting worse. With AD getting stronger as the season goes on, Ponder's stats should be getting better too. It's just not happening. GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly the problem joel444! The Wilfs have zero football knowledge. They hired Childress without interviewing anyone else and same with Frazier, who went 3-3 as interim Coach. So after the Vikings crash and burn to finish 6-10, it's anyone's guess who the next incompetent, under qualified Head Coach hire will be.

Ponder may have a good game this week, maybe next week, all fans are rooting for that. But the reality of the situation is that he doesn't have the consistency that your starting QB needs to have. The good play is tantalizing, the poor play is a warning sign. Ponder is not a starter, he is a backup and the sooner the Vikings move on the sooner the team will be better off. Sure, every QB has a learning curve but the solid starting QB's didn't have entire games where they looked clueless. He's not going through his progressions, he's out of the pocket after his first read - not qualities of a reliable starter.

Ponder is what a lot of folks thought he was when he was draft, unfortunately. I wouldn't draft a QB out of Florida if my life depended upon it. There have been nothing but train wrecks out of there for how long? A very few good ones, but very, very few. Was shocked when they went with Ponder that high. Should have let someone else take the guy. Frustrating to let team like Packers off hook when their they have 6 starters injuried and two best D players are out? Can't do that. Chicago is missing best Dback and U is not playing need to have Ponder at least show up. Vikes have to hit on a decent QB in draft or pick up the guy sitting in Seattle in trade. Ponder is never going to be anything but a 2nd stringer. Vikes have to upgrade wideouts also.

Frazier has hitched his wagon to Ponder like Chilly hitched himself to Tarvaris Jackson. Ponder should have been pulled in Green Bay and that game would have been a win. Ponders arm is just a bit too weak. I cringe even on a sideline pass that it's gonna go the other way for a TD. Vikes need to strongly consider Alex Smith or Matt Flynn in the offseason.
