Excelsior should insist that a new hotel match its surroundings.

Couldn't disagree more in this particular situation. I love the victorian look of this hotel.

This proposed hotel does not match the style of Excelsior. I would love to see a hotel on the site, just not the one that is being proposed. The editorial was spot on and I hope Excelsior council members realize that the size and style do not fit with the charm of Excelsior.
