Kieran Folliard's 2 Gingers sold to liquor giant Beam

The Irish whiskey created by the former owner of Kieran's will go national with distiller Beam Inc., maker of Jim Beam. Folliard will become a whiskey ambassador.

I respect Folliard and his TwoGingers brand more for the success and slickness of the marketing than I do for the flavor of the whiskey. If you leave the ginger ale out it's uh, not particularly tasty in my opinion.

I've had "Big Gingers" with both Jameson and 2 Gingers. Still prefer Jameson hands down. Either way, congrats though, Mr. Whiskey Ambassador.

He was smart. It's an Irish Whiskey that woman will drink. The irony: Irish Whiskey, in general, doesn't sell well in Minnesota.

@BallFour, You did know that before introducing 2 Gingers, one of Kieran's restaurant/pubs, the Local, was the largest single purveyor of Jameson whiskey IN THE WORLD for like 3 years running?

I Disagree with you guys, as a whiskey snob with a penchant for single malts I find 2 Gingers to be the best blended whiskey i have ever tasted. Beats Jameson hands down IMO
