I guess I don't see what all the fuss is about. The legislation only gives an idividual the right to decide for themselves if they want union representation. If the Unions are as good for employee's as they claim they are then everybody should be lining up to sign on the dotted line when they take a job. I like the legislation and think it should be a federal law.

Curiously, in the unions fight for the right to coerce people, their biggest allies are those who claim to live and die for the right of "choice". Somebody speak with forked tongue.

Bravo. What is wrong with letting the workers decide whether to join union or not? Forcing someone to be a member of a union is ridiculous.

It’s about time they got rid of the old antiquated system and allowed freedom for citizens to provide for their families without joining a union.

I think businesses should then be able to publish the list of names of those who are in the union and those who have opted out of the union.

They will remind you that it is indeed your choice to join the union, or not. Paying union "dues" on the other hand, is compulsory.
