I hope Brad Childress gets the coaching job at Wisconsin. I would like to see him pound Jerry Kill's Gophers into the ground.

So Frazier finally figured out we have to actually find a way to win a game? You wouldn't know it from his coaching decisions, or should I say non decisions? Leaving Joe Webb, one of the best and most exciting players on the team, to waste away on the sidelines while his chosen one gets to flounder away game after game screams of what a poor coach he is, and too gutless to actually make a decision to try and win a game when it is apparent to everyone in the stadium except Frazier that Ponder is in way over his head, and is not even backup material.

For more evidence of Fraziers utter incompetence as a head coach, witness the game against CHicago where we needed 2 touchdowns and a field goal to have a chance to send the game into overtime. The Vikes finally drove in field goal range before stalling. Fine, you say. We have one of the 3 scores we need to have a chance to win. So what does Frazier, the genius strategist do? He GOES FOR IT ON 4TH DOWN!!! EVEN MY DRUNK BUDDY KNEW BETTER! He comes up empty and blows any chance the team had of winning the game. Instead of trying an onside kick, Frazier turned the ball over instead and we STILL needed 2 touchdowns and a field goal to have a chance. GAME OVER! And Frazier adds yet another loss to his incredibly poor coaching record, and in the process establishes that he does not know what in the heck he's doing. Good job, Leslie. NOT!

In Sid's podcast he said the Vikiings problems weren't Ponder's fault because "their receivers stink". I agree they do stink Sid but so did their receivers stink in 2009. Sid Rice was a nobody until Favre made him. Harvin was in his second year and after that it was a bunch of no names, just like Ponder has. The QB can make the wr's better. The Vikes current WR's do stink but Ponder is contributing to the smell.

Frazier has been saying the SAME "we have to find a way to win" nonsense all season long and what has happened? They have lost 5 of their last 7 games in ebarrassing fashion. I'm sick and tired of the same old excuses from Winter Park and the local yokel media that continues to cover up all the blunders this club continues to make. To suggest this vikings club has a chance at making the playoffs this season is not only an outright lie but it is insulting to us fans as well!!!

To answer post above, yes Ponder looks scared. He has Blaine Gabbert look not Andy Dalton look. Jacksonville probably giving up on Gabbert. Like they said last night about Oakland, when you spend a high pick on QB and they fail you set team back years. Probably need to do something drastic like trade Peterson and rebuild. He only has so many years and I can't see him winning with Ponder. GM should admit mistake and move on.

While I wish Greg Childs all the best in terms of his recovery, it is difficult to share Frazier's optimism for Childs to be a good player for the Vikes in the future. Not because of his potential talent and desire, but because of the nature of his injuries. He ruptured both patellar tendons, one of which had already been previously repaired while at Arkansas.

To find a way to win, you say? It is easy. Get Ponder out of there and put a real quarterback out there. It is clear from looking at Ponder's face after all these 3-and-out that he has no confidence, no assertiveness and no faith in himself. Maybe his mind is off with his fiancee. For his sake, bench him one game and maybe that would help him more than anything else Frasier can say or do.
