We nee Percy to stay in a Vikings uniform! And these reporters need to be held accountable for the flimsy reporting about Harvin having issues with the team or with Ponder, etc. Show me the facts before you start spilling this swill.

R U kidding...c'mon...once the season is over Percy is gone to the first team to offer a first round draft pick. This was final a couple weeks ago when percy yelled at frazier to bench Ponder. it's too bad but you can't blame Harvin. Ponder will never be a legit NFL QB. Blame Spielman!

This is an outright lie and all of us purple homers know it!!! Winter Park has a LONG history of lying to not only the fans but the local yokel media as well!!! I'm tired of this loser jinxed franchise and their empty Super bowl / World Championship trophy case that continues to abuse it's fan base at every turn.

Why the hell are the Vikings not trying to sign a WR? They should have signed a WR even if Harvin was coming back. Now that he isn't, things are twice as bad. Is it because the team needs an excuse for Ponder poor play? At this point, there isn't any young talent available, but maybe theres a older player with something left. I know many people won't like this, but I think the Vikings should even consider signing T.O. for the final 4 games. Its time to get desperate. If the Vikings are to have a shot at making the playoffs, they must first improve their passing attack to mediocre.

I really do hope that the injury is ALL that there is behind this. Harvin is a franchise player. Sure he may have some issues but many players do...even ones that are not nearly his caliber. MN needs to hang on to him to keep the organization legit. You cannot always trade away your best players and expect to be good. This is not a Randy Moss type guy that is having legal issues and taking off plays. He plays every down and gives top effort. Sign him long term. He deserves it. Fans want it.

One other thing, it will be very sad if MN chooses Ponder over Harvin...for whatever reason. How pathetic would that be? Let Ponder go and get Harvin signed long term.

butcher001 you can hire Marshall, Megatron and Jennings and it would not change anything as long as Ponder is QB. Wide receivers are only as good as the QB makes them. Favre and Rice are proof of that.

It's pretty obvious the folks who know football realize that there is no hope.Spielman,Frazier and Ponder have to go. Wilf needs to bring in a real GM who knows how to build a winner. Bill Cowher would be a good choice. BUT..I'm afraid Wilf is playing out of Pohlad's playbook. Bottom line..fans are screwed.

Well, I'm really starting to question whether Frazier knows what is "best for the team." It seems to me he is doing what is best for Rick Speilman by keeping Ponder in. Oh, wait maybe it is best for the team to LOSE games and NOT make the playoffs so they don't have to pay out bonuses. Frazier/Speilman make the decision to play AD after signing him to 100M $ contract in a meaningless game that we needed to LOSE and it COULD have cost him his career. Then they choose to WIN the game and avoid getting arguably one of the best QB's in the game. That is not what is best for the TEAM Les!!!!!
