If history is our guide, Polaris will wait a few years and then relocate this American business in Mexico, joining the Osceoloa plant that was moved there a couple of years ago. I can almost promise you this. Until we tax heavily companies that move overseas to take advantage of lax environmental laws, exploit cheap labor with no benefits to weight their profits down, this trend of moving manufacturing out of the US will continue. The reimportation of American companies products that are produced overseas must be taxed heavily to encourage them to stay in the US. There is a heavy price this country pays when these companies leave, and that price is indirectly paid by taxpayers. End of discussion.
