Even though they don't investigate hit and run accidents, they still tow cars in for 132 a car
They never admit it but this is a huge income source for the city. The charge $138.00 but only pay out 1/2 of that according to the tow contracts PLUS the coiy sells about 10,000 cars per year that are not picked up PLUS they do not refund excess funds after they sell cars even though it is required by law. Liers, Cheeter and thieves.
Why don't they have a website showing where and when street parking bans will be enforced in addition to street signs. It is disconcerting when you want to go on vacation and don't know whether or not your car will be towed due to these temporary parking bans.
Palm777 don't go on vacation for too long. According to City Ordinance §478.250, no vehicle shall remain on any street or highway in the city in excess of 72 consecutive hours
