I like the moves Ryan is making. Yes, it may take 2-3 yrs to see the payoff but the players coming in have great upside. Plus, the Twins are deep with outfield talent...

If this team is truely rebuilding Hicks should be on the opening day roster.

The Twins are NOT deep in outfielder talent anymore! Revere was an excellent defender, maybe the best Minnesota had since Torii Hunter. Worley is mediocre at best especially after hitters learned his stuff following his solid rookie season. Hard to believe the Twins don't need a top-of-the-order guy like Revere stealing bases and beating out infield singles. Defense used to be one of the staples of the Twins organization. NOw it appears to be mediocre starting pitchers with E-R-A's near 5 and prospects not ready for the majors. Boo hiss, Revere made the Twins somewhat fun to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I trust Terry Ryan knows what he's doing but I'll miss Revere. He was a real sparkplug and a downright decent guy.

Wow -- Revere was an excellent fit for center field at Target Field. Guess you have to give up something good to get something good. Guess Revere and Span will see each other pretty regularly.

Funny, every know it all on this board lambasts the Twins for sitting on their hands and not making a move, now? This is gonna be fun. Personally, I will miss the speed we had a week ago on the bases. I won't miss getting in my seats in the first inning down five runs. Nice move Terry.

Hope we can get some FA pitchers to sign. Seems like the only thing we can do to get pitching right now is to make trades. That kind of scary.

Unless you can develop pitching within, you have to give up something to get it from outside, unfortunately ...
