Another wheel comes off the TP wagon.
This is a boon for not only the Senate but for the State of South Carolina. This gives them a chance to put someone in office that is willing to work for solutions to benefit all of the citizens of South Carolina and not it's fortunate few. Seeing as DeMint has always hated the US Government, he is better off not being a member of it.
Let's hope his replacement understands that a big tent is better than a leaky tarp. The far right isn't accomplishing anything, and they are not helping our government operate.
This is fantastic! Now Jim DeMint can really go after those republicans who do not toe the line on our TeaPublican purity tests! He will watch how they vote…and if they go down the wrong path Mr. DeMint will have a Republican in waiting to run against them in the next primary election! Sen. DeMint’s departure means that Republican South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley will name a successor…and let’s all pray to God that she appoints herself! OMG that would be awesome! This self-appointment would show America that we TeaPublicans are determined to have women as our Republican leaders! And Sen. DeMint’s departure will help him get ready for a Presidential bid! Now he doesn’t have to take those tough votes like one coming up on the fiscal cliff! I bet we will now see him every single night on Fox News! This departure is just what Sen. DeMint, Nikki Haley and America needed…and it WILL pay off in the end! This is just another step in TeaPublicans taking back America in 2014 and 2016!
Way more money these groups ask for money constantly and they set the amount they will get payed , those amounts are massive. Thats both sides of the isle.
Run for president! That would be a long-shot! He just wants to make more money and have the pension and health insurance he will receive. I wonder how he can go to the Heritage Foundation when it is the blueprint for the ACA. He is, however, a devious person and will fit right in with that group.
First it was the Twinkie and now it is DeMint. What other thing that is bad for Americans is going away? Ohhh the horrrrror lol
Ohhh the horrrrror lol------------You want to see Horror. You will. When the gov't no longer can afford to expand it's spending by 25% every 4 years. When there is no more money you can take from the rich to buy votes. By that time, the people of the USA will be accustomed to having everything given to them by the govt. Horror? That is what will happen when people discover that they actually have to depend on themselves for their existence!
Life is good. There is good money to be "earned" in the private sector for influence and insider info. Heritage Foundation outgoing president Edwin Feulner made $1,025,000 in 2010, according to their tax statements. There you go, its all about money. Another millionaire created in one years "salary".
Best news all day. Lock in the Tea Party nonsense in every right wing think tank, super PAC and news outlet. 2014 is looking like another liberal win.
