I think the Strib can just keep reprinting the same article every week and it pretty much covers Ponder's play and his subsequent response. He says this same thing every week...

I swear we've heard this exact same thing from Ponder at least 10 times this year

simpson says he supports Ponder; show it on the field. Ponder is not the only one at fault; support him by stepping up your game. Action speaks louder than words; it time for you to play like you have lost your mind.

Its time for the whole offense besides AP to step up and help Ponder succeed. As for the wide receivers, if you guys can't beat man to man coverage you are terrible, or you guys are just not putting out the effort. Teams are using the same defense vs the Redskins, and they are beating the coverage with quick hitters off of playaction, and max protection, mostly quick slants. If Musgrave and co. can't get their players to beat man to man with one safety over the top they should all be held accountable. Also, all teams run screen passes, except the Vikings apparently. Opposing teams know we don't run the generic screen so the D lineman pin their ears back and rush the whole game without worrying about a screen. Does anyone else see this?

Blah, blah, blah, Christian Blunder has been saying this all season long!! You already cost us a playoff spot with your horrendous playing and cost AP his MVP of the year. Don't you think it's a bit late to be promising to be better?? you already threw our season down the toilet, no one wants to hear your same old promises at this point!!!

Same verse, different chapter. At this point I doubt Ponder has the physical or mental ability to fix his obvious plunders.

So...none of his previous poor performances were a wake-up call, just this last one? Well, better late than never I guess. Oh, wait, we've heard the same rhetoric after every loss, except for the wake-up call part. Ponder seems like a really nice guy but he is hapless, clueless, floundering out at sea.

Wow, I can not believe he is still spewing and regurgitating the same trash. I bet any decent QB could come in and perform MUCH better than Ponder with the receivers we have in place. And for those backing Ponder and saying we have no receivers, please call Rick Spielman and ask him why he signed Simpson, signed Carlson to a huge $25 million contract and otherwise completely ignored the wide receiver position....just the most obvious position we needed help with for the past few years.

I think it is great he fixed all his problems. That was easy just don't play away games and play all games at the dome. That should make him much better. Can't wait to watch him play.

Broken Record. Step into a throw!!!!!!!!! Don't throw accross your body!!!!!! If he goes out and performs that way again please, please, please bench him and put someone, anyone, else in. Can't I repeat CAN'T be worse. I want this guy to succeed but as Einstein put it the definition of insanity "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"
