This is America, where our Political System is supposed to be open and transparent. Why have politicians (on both sides) continually held "Closed Door" meetings in the last few years? It is my understanding that all works and decisions of our governmental process requires an open and informed process that allows the watchful eye of the public to oversee the decisions being made.

Can't counter-offer when there are no specifics and is the same offer that was rejected. You put back Paul Ryan on the Budget committee! What did you expect?

"Can't counter-offer when there are no specifics and is the same offer that was rejected."...Specfics like obama has offered? Was it not something along the lines of "raise taxes on the rich now and we'll discuss cuts in spending later?" Those specifics???
