Eagan in negotiations to own all of Caponi Art Park

To secure the future of the park as undeveloped green space, the city and county plan to work together in hopes of buying the remaining 30 acres.

If this was in Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Park Board would install pay parking lots and rent out the studio to a restaurant.

If it were in Minneapolis, it would have 180,000 visitors not 18,000 and it would need to install paid parking and food service to handle the crowds and expenses of handling such large crowds,,,,so ralieghmamma, Minneapolis would do exactly what you suggest

My daughter went here for a field trip. She wouldn't go on her next few field trips because she was worried she would have to go back. 18,000 visitors is a special interest group, not enough for a public benefit public benefit.
