Many roads to fuel efficiency

I just got done reading the article about the electric cars. I have an opinion on one of the paragraphs. All i want to say is that i don't really like the fact that in 2025 we get 37mpg in our cars, It says that we get 24mpg now a days and if you do the math thats only a 13mpg difference. I asked my energy science teacher and he agrees on what i was talking about because today we have cars that can go 54mpg and its 2012. If we have to wait until 2025 I say the average cars should at least get 54mpg instead of 37. Thanks for reading my comment have a good day
