FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - In its second stunning hiring this year, Arkansas tabbed Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema to take over a program that went into a tailspin after former coach Bobby Petrino was fired for hiring his mistress to work in the athletic department.

As a Badger fan, I wont be loosing any sleep over Bielema going to Arkansas. He did a good job while here but I cant help but think HE was the reason we lost the last 2 winable Rose Bowls. Hopfully Barry will find a keeper next time, Maybe Paul Chryst who is a popular choice here in Madison

I hear Tim Brewster is available....assuming WI could pull him away from being the receivers coach for Miss State! Go get em Badgers! I look forward to seeing Bielema's ego get crushed in the SEC.

Lots of jealousy about Wisconsin football from here in MN. How about the Gophers improving their program?

Great timing. This should certainly fire up the team for the Rose Bowl...

He obviously left out of fear due to the newly energized Gopher football program and did not want to have to recruit against the up and coming power house. We can all dream can't we ? Seriously, that should help bring a couple of top recruits our way which would be helpful. I hope coach Kill and his staff can come up with a great recruiting class to keep things headed in the right direction !

Arkansas will not put up with failure and will pay top dollar for a big name coach. The Goofs have 50 years of failure and a long list of bad hires because they only hire "cheap". Sadly, they even overpay for "cheap". Maybe next time the Goofs can overpay for "good".

Well deserved for coaching his team to a successful 5 loss season and beating out Big Ten powers Illinois, Indiana and Purdue to the Leaders title!

Winter is coming. They want to move south. But Arkansas? Florida would have been a better choice. LOL
