If it's about safety, then there should not be a public symposium as to whether the trucks should be allowed. If it's safe, then allow them. If not, then let them take 35E and can we please FINALLY increase the speed limit to 55 where it now is 45? It's just stupid to adjust the speed to accommodate the homeowners in that area. I live near I-94 on Dayton's Bluff. Interstate traffic (it's just white noise at this point) is part of living in certain parts of the city.
