While it is true that "guns don't kill people, people kill people", it is also true that guns make it very easy for people to kill people.

I own guns. I am licensed to carry a weapon. I have no doubt whatsoever that we need gun control in this country. It may be too late, however, because gun ownership has become a social mindset that is too big to contain.

Good for him raising the issue even if others have different positions. It is too easy in the heat of emotion to go "mental". And how sad for that girlfriend and baby :(

FOX should receive just as much criticism for criticising the critic. FOX could do without opinion when they decide to blast anyone with Leftist views.

We don't need gun control. What we need are gun laws. Laws that make sense. Those two people are not dead because one of the owned a gun. They are dead because one of them was messed up in his head and truly thought this was the answer to whatever problem(s) he/they had. JMO

Bob Costas should be removed from sports and added to the MSNBC Chris Mathews spot. I don't watch football to get Bob Contas' liberal points of view. We get enough of that everywhere else.

Bob Costas is right of course; but I'm not going to be surprised if an autopsy reveals the presence of illegal steroids in Mr. Belcher's system.

Everybody should be armed to the tee and then we wouldn't need the overbloated military and the police since people should be responsible for themselves. Gov't spending would be drastically cut. (sarcasm)

Kudos to Costas for having the courage to speak up on this subject, difficult as it may be. Alleged NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell still has not issued his own statement on this topic. To the C-list celebs annoyed by Costas expressing his views, change the channel, find a topic of greater consequence, move on...
