it looks as though Israel has misjudged the issue and is loosing friends rapidly. and although Israel disputes it, the settlements are considered illegal under international law. following the its recent recognition by the UN the Pals leadership will presumably pursue legal peaceful battles with Israel to stop the settlements, and judging from the reaction accross Europe to Israel's announcement to further its settlement expansion, there will be a growing support for the the Pals position,.
