I realize that this is an AP story, but why (if he died on November 14) is this just now news? Was his body recently discovered? Did new facts come to light?

As for Mortenson, the old African proverb applies..."the higher a monkey climbs the more of his butt is exposed". Why did the 'charity' not pay this man's legal bills? Obviously he was ghost writing. I'm still wondering why readers of the book are suing?

I'm still wondering why readers of the book are suing?

Because lawyers suggested they could reap big rewards. Turns out, Mortenson is better suited to the life styles of the mountain people than to corporate America. His good works are apparently meaningless, because the books aren't US perfect. Good names, good work, have been sacrificed on the altar of the almighty American dollar and our need to make everything fit into our perception of the world order. God help us all.
