First Packers score provides microcosm of Vikings' issues

You can justifiably pin Green Bay's first touchdown Sunday on Vikings cornerback A.J. Jefferson. Point the finger at nose tackle Letroy Guion, too.

Just watch, the Vikings are going to end up at the bottom of the NFC North again this year because of the coach's insistance of "evaluating" Ponder.Come on man, consider him evaluated and move on with Webb as starter for the interim.I'd bet good money if Webb had been playing the last four games The Vikings would be 8-4 right now. Before the season I distintctly remember Frazier, when asked, say that they would find a place for Webb to be playing and contributing to this team and they haven't touched him. With all his talent, and the current lack of talent on the field right now,how can you just sit back and wait for Ponder to be hurt to utilize him?He has to be useful in some shape, way or form other then heating up that spot on the bench. This is a prime example of what fans pull their hair and teeth out over.Whatever the coaching staff is seeing in practice is not translating onto the field, get it?

I wouldn't put the whole thing on Ponder. Can you blame the guy for being shell-shocked after the pounding he took due to the "turnstile" blocking he got all year from his offensive line? Certainly he has problems with his mechanics and decision making, but given how successful he was with only one competent receiver I have a hard time thinking that he's all that bad.

Leslie's judgment is highly questionable. Last year, with absolutely no chance of making the playoffs, he went all out to win in Washington, losing out on RG3 in the process. This year, with a legitimate shot at the playoffs, he mindlessly sticks with Ponder. Webb, or any QB able to complete a pass or two would've won the game for the Vikes yesterday, given Peterson's amazing day.

Just be glad this clown is sticking with the most useless QB ever.Next year everyone will be fired.Someone will be hired that knows what they are doing, and start all over.Oh I am sorry I was dreaming. If I was an owner that was committed to winning I would never have hired any of these clowns, let alone letting them ruin my team.So lets see if the Wilfs have the BALLS to do the right thing.

Erin Henderson was quoted in the article. The only thing I want to hear from him is why he chose to cut inside a block on the Starks 22yd TD run allowing Starks to get outside containment and score.
