George, yes George Stewart the WR coach of the Minnesota Vikings. Sir, I hold you responsible for these bums not catching, getting open or blocking today. It was a horrible day for this part of our team. We could have won this game, it was there for the taking. I honestly feel so bad for purple jesus (AP) to have to play with you goofballs who are no good. It's just sad your drawing a big paycheck and our WR are awful. George, Please fix it.

Last year, after Winfield got hurt and Cook got arrested, the Vikings DBs were the most overmatched group of players I had ever seen. I don't think they had a single player who was good enough to make the practice squad for a playoff contender. Without Harvin, this year's receivers may be even worse.

Burton,Simpson,Aromashodo,Jenkins need to be cut from the squad in the offseason. Not that they it really matters with TJack Ponder. But Wright & Percy & Childs are the only WR's worth saving. Stop picking up Bears WR's. In their history the bears haven't had very good WR's.

Vikings Area of Strength: Running back, Offensive Line, Defensive Secondary, Tight End. Area of Mediocrity: Defensive Line. Areas of Weakness: Linebacker, Wide Receiver and most importantly, Quarterback.

Please don't overlook the fact that this was a depleted Packer team. Six lineman only! Two of them undrafted and a center who's old enough to have served in the Korean War!! Five of Eleven Defense starters out! Pack still won, doesn't bode well for the Vikes.

It has been 11 weeks and now Coach Frazier says we have to fix it? Oh thats right,"we will look at the tape clean some things up and come back next week". Well it has been 11 weeks and there is still no marketable improvement. My question is why? Is anybody going to ask it or are you afraid you won't be allowed at the press confernce. It probably doesn't matter because all you will hear is blah blah blah anyway.

I'm guessing Spielman is forcing them to keep Ponder in the game. Dumbest thing I have ever seen. When you have a combination of bad receivers and a bad QB, what other outcome can be expected? At least Webb would make the games interesting to watch. Right now, this team puts me to sleep.

This is more on Ponder than our WR's. I saw Ponder, start running downfield in a split second cause his TE was covered so he leaves the pocket and runs downfield. Meanwhile, I noticed on at least two Ponder runs, we had WR's open! Our QB can't pull the trigger, panics too soon, and typically looks for only 1 WR (which he knows where he's passing before the snap). Yes, our WR's aren't that great, but our QB is 100% worthless.

I certainly am not a big believer in Ponder, but I put our receiving issues squarely on the shoulders of the Vike brain trust that has made personnel decisions the last couple of years. Ponder certainly is not trying to suck, he is just trying to live the dream like any of us would in his position. He certainly does not have a receiver to throw to, but he also certainly is not making anyone better and that is exactly what a good QB would do. But this team has ignored for two years its lack of talent at the wide receiver position. I said before last season, when McNabb was brought in, that it won't matter who is at QB because they did nothing to improve the receiver corps from the year before. When Sydney Rice went down in Farve's last year, it was proven at that point that he was the only receiver that was worth anything because even Farve couldn't do anything with the rest after Rice went down. If Farve couldn't do anything with them, especially proving the year before that he was still a great QB, why would anyone believe that any other QB could do anything with these receivers? This is completely the fault of the Vike's brass that makes personnel decisions becauae absolutely NOTHING has been done by them to address this in the last two years.

Ponder should have been carrying a clip board last year and this year. It takes on average 3 to 4 years to develop the knowledge to see the complete field in the NFL. The other thing we need to think about is you build your offense around what the QB likes to do and can do. I think blame can go around the organization not just Ponder or the receivers.
