This is a disgrace. There is no way they should play today after this tragedy. The greed of these football owners knows no bounds.

Belcher would have wanted the game to go on.

I speak for all when I say it's time for us, the football community, to move forward and return to a sense of normalcy, in this, the holiday season. There is no future in the past, as I know Jovan would agree.

They kind of had to play, with only a few weeks left in the season and no bye weeks left, there was no time to reschedule. I know it sucks, but what is the alternative, two games in one week? That would just not work in football.

The game should have been rescheduled or out and out cancelled. What Belcher would have wanted is irrelevant. The man murdered someone and killed himself in front of the coach and GM at the team facility. This just proves tv contracts and greed are the motivating factors, period. As for the fans that still want to ghoulishly watch how the team reacts on the field, good for you, you have contributed even more to the downfall of any human decency we have left.
