Why haven't we seen news on the fact that Israel has killed 2 Palestinians since the cease fire and last night there was a tank shelling in a Gazan neighborhood? One person is brain dead and several others injured! Where are your reporters on this?! 19 fisherman have been illegally arrested by Israel while in their newly enlarged (6 nautical mile) fishing zone, though much more of those waters SHOULD be accessible to them. WHY are you not talking about the OTHER big travesties committed by Israel? Lost tax money is terrible. Deaths and adding 3,000 new ILLEGAL settlements in West Bank is tragedy.

Pursuant to Article 6 of Chapter II (Membership) of the Charter of the United Nations, as approved by the membership, "A member of the United Nations which has persistently violated the principles contained in the present charter may be expelled from the organization by the General Assembly upon the recommendation of the Security Council." Since Israel has been in continuous violation of various Resolutions of the Security Council since 1967 pertaining to the Palestinian people, the occupied territories, and settlement building, and continues to this day to do everything in its power to keep the Palestinian people from obtaining the same benefits of statehood Israelis enjoy, it is clear they have "persistently" violated the principles contained in the UN Charter, and so should be expelled by the membership. The Palestinian people have a right to self-determination and not to be dictated to by Benjamin Netanyahu or Israel. His continued authorization of continued settlement building violates scores of UN Security Council Resolutions which have demanded a halt to such activity. He and his predecessors have knowingly and willingly violated the prinicples in the charter even though as a member of the UN they are legally bound by them. In addition, they have been and continue to violate Article 73, Chapter XI (Declaration Regarding Non-Self-Governing Territories), as they have failed to adhere to the principles outlined in Article 73 by continuing to place their own interests before those of the people of the Palestinian Terriroties over which Israel has imposed its military actions, and have done so continuously since 1967. It is clear from Israel's actions over the last 45 years the state of Israel does not honor or abide by its responsibility as a member of tne United Nations, to abide by the dictates of the UN, and as such no longer deserves to be a member of the organization.

Israel is getting to be more and more extremist. In a sad way, it is acting like Iran in its attitude toward other nations and its neighbors. The current administration in Israel can easily be described as neo-cons, pushing for war against anyone and "defending the homeland" against all.
