Remember when the Rose Bowl actually meant something? Finish in 5th place overall in the Big 10, play in a stadium half full, beat two teams with winning records all year and go to Pasadena. Then do what Wisky does with Bielema choke away the Rose Bowl. Nice system, thanks to all the athletic directors for ruining sports.

One other thing. Way to win with class. Challenge up 63-17, go at QB's knees again, late hits. It's called karma, that's why Bucky chokes in the Rose Bowl, because they have a clown for a coach. Enjoy the asterik bowl, it's going to be awhile before you go back again with Urban in the league now. PS to Devin Smith, keep your head on a swivel. How many fingers am I holding up?

cooper227, your anger and bitterness are not apparent at all. Running up the score? If you don't like it, stop it. The Badgers didn't pass once in the second half. Taking a knee on every play would be a very disrespectful thing to do to Nebraska. How would you like it if the opposing team did that to the Gophers on every play? Going to the Rose Bowl with 5 losses is not something I am proud of as a Badger fan, but take advantage of the opportunities presented to you.

Looks like the jealous are out today! Don't be sad because on a scale of 1 to 100, WI football is around a 90 and kill's joke is a solid 2.

Choking in the Rose Bowl? They lost close games to higher ranked teams. Are the Alvarez Rose Bowl victories now so ancient history that they don't count? Hopefully the Gopher's bowl game won't be shown just on the NFL Network or was it the St.Paul public access channel?, this time around.

As an anti-Nebraska fan that lives in South Dakota, I thought the outcome was great. Nebraska has for years "ran" up scores on some teams...check out some of the scores when they played the Gophers back in the 70s and 80s. Nebraska did this to a team this year (Neb 73 - Idaho St 7). You can't seriously expect Wisconsin to take a knee the entire 4th quarter. All they had to do was stop the run and the defensive genius Bo Pelini couldn't get his team to do it last night. If only he would have thrown a major fit on the sideline...

MN will never be able to compete with the Badgers again. Good luck to the MN kids with the vision and drive to compete for Roses instead of rusted out mufflers!

I have an idea for the Big 10 (or 12 or 14, or whatever it is now.) Add one more team & split into three five-team divisions - Leaders, Legends & Losers (or Long Shots, if that is more palatable to the conference Commish.)

I did not see this coming. I decided to watch the game to give "moral" support to WI. What a surprise.. Though I am not from WI, I am glad that they won. When NE joined the Big Ten, I thought they might start taking over the league or join Ohio State, Michigan and Michigan State as the top four teams. Dang, WI, you really put on a show. Good luck to you. I wonder if the Gophers will ever be this good and give us a game like this?
