G's played too deliberate tonight, they are at their best when they are flyin' and tonight they weren't flyin'. After they got the lead in the 1st they looked like they went into a caution type mode. Once again a poor coverage mistake led to a destructive goal against. UNO played smart and hard. Hate to say it but they were the better team tonight...

Thank you for your descriptive, accurate coverage.

The Gophers are really lacking team chemistry. They have been since that awesome opening weekend. Even Rau has lost his mojo. What gives?

This Gopher team is pain and simply OVERATED....

Omaha, for god almighty! How is it that they are able to field a better team than the "state of hockey”. A total embarrassment. This sorry axx team has a real attitude problem and it starts with the coach.

This team has zero toughness. They get pushed all over the ice. I dont care if the other guy is 6'8 or 5'5. Take the body! Three guys follow an opponent into the corner? What is that? This team is a mess. Wait til we play the big boys of the WCHA. Best figure it out soon, boys.

The boys are definitely over rated. They play down to their competition. At this rate, they may not make the NCAA's later. I always felt Lucia was living off other people's left overs, and never even a good coach at best.

"Chain fell off the bike tonight", is that the best you can do, coach?

dirtydogsDec. 1, 12 6:44 AM

Not surprised a Don Lucia coached team lost on a Friday night. As predicted when they were ranked number 1, they would fall out of the top 5 by Christmas. Lucia can not improve his players and his team actually appears to regress. That is the history of a Don Lucia coached team and why pro teams pull their kids out of his program. This team is playing worse than they played the first week of the season, and has yet to beat a team with a winning record.

Been saying for years that if Lucia coached another team where talent wasn't knocking on his door, he would be fired. The man gets the best recruits (although he is finding it tougher...wonder why) yet his teams never reach their full potential. How many time this year alone has the defense been way out of position. This is the probably the worst defensive play I have seen for years. And the forwards appear lack fire. We know they have the talent, but what they really need is a coach that can improve their skillset. Sorry, Don Lucia is not that coach.
