WASHINGTON - Watergate Judge John J. Sirica aided the prosecution in pursuing the White House connection to the Democratic headquarters break-in by providing the special prosecutor information from a probation report in which one of the burglars said he was acting under orders from top Nixon administration officials, according to once-secret documents released Friday by the National Archives.

It is very interesting to consider the connections that people like McCain, Grahams et al make between Watergate and Bengazi! In Watergate the American people were upset because Nixon/Repubs were trying to steal info so they could destroy the Dems presidential candidate (ie steal an election). The McCain/Graham conspiracy theory is that Pres Obama didn't want to announce an Al Qaeda was responsible for the attack in Bengazi in order to not lose some potential votes!! To date there is no PROOF of anything to connect the Whitehouse to anything involving a coverup. Typical Repubs strategdy is to make an accusation and then convince non-thinkers that the burden of disproving anything lies with the accused! The Watergate comparison to Bengazi doesn't pass the reality test let alone the smell test!!

I wonder how many years it will take to release the "Fast and Furios" files?

Regardless of what they did, doesn't this act by the "judge" (prosecutor?) make all the convictions nothing but a kangaroo court? Every person convicted should file a civil suit for a BIG chunk of money from Cox, from Sirica, and from the government. Then file for a retrial. Then settle for a Pardon and apology from Obama. but don't settle if the pardon comes from a future Republican President. BTW, what they did was nothing more than failed dirty tircks politics. what Obama did about Beghazi AFTER the fact is the exact same kind of coverup. What he didn't do to protect our people before the fact was arrogant, incompetent, and negligent. Bill G.
