There is always a "reason" why we are getting screwed...

I commute 400 plus miles per week to work. Starting next month, I rented a place to live 5 miles from my office. A real hassle not being able to go "home" each day but the expense has been so high for so long - something had to give. What would you do to reduce your gasoline consumption/expense?

This comment doesn't make any sense (plug-in electric cars will deliver a gradual reduction in U.S. oil consumption.)Electric power plants burn oil to make electricity. We would need more nuclear power - electric plants to power electric cars to get off of Saudi oil.

The big SUVs are still selling just fine. Quit crying about prices? Who cares?

Now is the time for getting that light rail to spider throughout the area. The longer we wait to do that, the more cost we will incur. With oil getting higher will make the material we need to build it rise.

didnt we just spend over 13billion for the takeover in iraq? why dont we quit being a bunch of PU*$%#*s and take over the country which we helped liberate and take the oil? that would be too easy.

As far as I'm concerned Venezuela should be next after Iraq. Make sure their oil is not going East but North.

Gas prices are more of an inconvenience to people than a real problem. everyone complains about it and thats as far as it goes.

What ever happened to the guy in White Bear Lake that had a carborator that got 100 miles to the gallon. Funny how that isn't brought up in any talks about better gas mileage.

We are a victim of these ruthless oil companies that have a monopoly (cartel) on oil They have no reason to raise prices to this level, except they can.
