That's a good start. If I pay a little more now my kids won't have to pay quite so much later, and we'll all still have our safety net if something terrible happens (again).

This was the same budget that voted down 98-0 in the senate before the election. If this is his best offer, then just send us over the cliff, when the economy tanks obama will get the blame.

I hate to say it, I am now in favor of the cliff. It is the only way the Fed is going to spend less. And the DEMs get all the Clinton Tax rates back, which they cherish as the best of times. But then, add this tax hike with new Obamacare taxes, higher energy costs (via new EPA reguations), and new Dayton taxes proposals...the new definition of wealthy will be anyone with a job.
