Isn't it amazing that "most" rich people live to a very ripe old age, and "most" poor people die quite early from medical conditions. I wonder why?

martin64.....isn't it amazing that "most" people like you think that rich people should pay for poor peoples medical care through taxes. None of my grandparents were well off or rich and they lived to ripe old ages so your statement has no proof to back up that money = long life. If you know of a study or research on this topic, please let me know where I can read up on it.

Meanwhile, I'm just going to wish the former President a speedy recovery.

This man is a former President and Vice-President of our country, a little respect is in order regardless of party or class warfare. Hope Mr. Bush can recover and have a happy holiday season with his family.

""most" poor people die quite early from medical conditions."..... "MOST"???? I would love to see some data to support that ridiculous claim. If "most" poor people died quite early from medical conditions how do you explain the nearly 50,000,000 Americans currently receiving food stamps?

If "most" poor people died early from medical conditions Barack Obama would not be in receiving another term. If not for the 10's of millions of Americans living off of Govt entitlements Obama would have never had stood a chance.

"If "most" poor people died early from medical conditions Barack Obama would not be in receiving another term. Meanwhile, I wish President Bush a speedy recovery.

This is an AWFUL picture of him. Couldn't the paper have used one that didn't make him look ghoulish?

The Social Security Administration has data that shows the wealthy live longer, as well as a discussion of why. That aside, I wish Bush I a speedy recovery.
