Oh, but remember. The only way our new elite U.S. of A. is going to exist in this world is a everyone gets a 4 years or more college education. Then you can move numbers and words around from the left hand to the right and back again while the lowly hands on skill jobs will be left to the third world. Ha, ha, this is such a lie that is coming back to kick the 4 plus year college corporate money making machines in the teeth. Students with huge debt they can't repay. No jobs as many of the tech and financial jobs are overseas now and the skilled trade get you hands dirty once in a while are flooding back. I believe in education but I believe there is a place for all skills and trades in this country. Colleges have done nothing more than put out a fairy tale of what America should be as far as only the ultra educated having a place at the table. This has been used to enrich the college corporate machines and the college presidents and directors that run them.

Salary is 700k. Severance is 2.5M. How do u get 3X ur salary as going away present? And they paid it knowing he was fired for malfeasance. Not to mention criminal actions. I suppose school was worried he would sue them for not following termination clause in contract.

Taxpayers really need to stop funding these university crooks. They get tons of cash from us in tax money and we still can't afford the astonomical tuition.

I love it when high ed people complain about their financial plight. Teaching is a good gig, but like Pavlov's dog, when teachers and admin gripe, we just gobble it up.

We need to keep income taxes low on this "job creator."

@bgmach3: It depends on what your skills are. My son is a linux system administrator. He quit his last two jobs, looking for better opportunities. Both times, he had significantly better jobs in less than two weeks.

What is with the obsession on people compensation other than to fuel class envy/ class warfare? This is the MO of CO (modus operandi of community organizer).

Hey Boris, so you have no problem with a guy who was FIRED for malfeasance getting a HUGE severance package? I thought you GOPers were all about accountability, but looks like in your case anyway, it's just about the big bucks, no matter how ill-gotten the gains.
