Wow! Loved Love's defense and the defense of the whole team. If this is how Love is going to play, then I, a crabby critic of his heretofore lack of commitment to the defensive end of the court, will be jumping onboard the Love Train. It was great to see him run hard to get back on D, contest shots, help his teammates, and voice his complaints to the refs, like every player in the league does, WITHOUT costing his team. His more measured approach with the refs is how he will get the calls he thinks he hasn't been getting. Loved to see him try to take a couple charges too. The best all around game I have seen him play. This was basketball at its best: great team and individual play. I don't want to get carried away by one game, but tonight we caught a glimpse of the potential of this club. It will be interesting to see how much gas is left in the tank for the Clippers.

What does Rick Adelman have against Derrick Williams? How is Williams supposed to improve if he sits on the bench the whole game? Whenever Adelman talks about Williams, he is usually critical and doesn't express any confidence in him. For that matter, why hasn't Stiemsma been playing? He started the season great, and has been rewarded with little to no playing time.

tomjoad, No offense to your questions about DWill and Steamer, but they have been given their 'shot' and it appears to be about production. Malcom Lee is the one that scares me when he is on the floor. He must have been a bargain, hurry back Ricky.

If the number 2 overall draft pick cannot produce then someone then the coach or top management needs to be questioned. This guy can play. Let him play but you need to show him you have some confidence in him and not pull him the first time he misses a shot.

For those commenting on how D williams should be playing more....he was starting, and he shot like crap. There is no reason he should be playing in front of any of these forwards: Love, Kirilenko, Cunningham, even Josh Howard is a better NBA player at this point. D Will has potential, but he is not worthy yet.
