All the "FIRE" Frazier talk is a bunch of BS! How many coaches have a better record with an equally bad or below average QB like Ponder? ZERO. ESPN and CBS sports both named Frazier as mid-season coach of the year(prior to bye week).

Who drafted and is insisting on playing Ponder?

Frazier is a darn good coach. He can take us to the Bowl. If not this year then next. KEEP THE MAN.

@budgrant00 – There's a lot of football to be played yet this year.

Frazier mentioned a couple weeks ago he wanted to hoist the Lombardi Trophy at end of the season. How about winning our division first, it doesn't look like now that we'll even get the last Wildcard spot, much less a Superbowl!!!! Now that's funny!!!!!!!

Honestly I personally feel the fire Fraizer & Spielman talk comes from the fact they do not hold Ponder accountable for ongoing failures. It's like he has a free pass to screw up and not worry about being benched because they need to evaluate him as a starter for a full season & part of Spielman's 3 yr plan for him. It is hurting the Vikings. Ponder could benefit from seeing the game from the bench for a while and the Vikings can evaluate Webb. If you are not going to use Webb's athletic ability as a receiver then you must see what he has as a QB, even if it is as a relief. Forget the it will shatter Ponder's confidence rhetoric. Ponder has been playing below average for almost the whole year minus the first 4 games. Speilman made a mistake in reaching for Ponder in the first round and now is stubbornly sticking with him just like Chilly did with TJAC. A carbon copy of those seasons. Right down to the almost there potential. The season prior to Ferrotte being a Viking and finally putting them back in the playoffs the Vikings rode TJAC's potential and all they had to do was beat the Redskins at home to make the playoffs & TJAC threw an INT on the first play. LOSS,Blowout. That is the same potential Ponder is showing. Loss, Blowout. Ponder doesn't throw it deep with accuracy. That's just a fact. And the short passes he has no touch and just fires it in there which results in the receivers dropping it because it comes in way too hard. They are only 3 yds away and he throws it as hard as he can. Look at the 4th & 2 where Ponder threw the ball out of the endzone. On a 4th down. Ponder is not good. The same as what TJAC was. The Vikings would be wise in changing the culture to one of accountability, including management & coaches and in order to do that Spielman, Frazier & Musgrave must go.

All we hear is Ponder, Ponder, Ponder. Tell me: Do his receivers create ANY semblance of separation? Is his low completion percentage due to to the fact that he simply can't find Burton and Aromashoudu streaking wide-freaking-open across the field? Let's be realistic. He can't make plays out of thin air. Only the top handful of QBs can do that. Don't dump the offensive ineptitude on his inability to conjure miracles.
