He's 'clearly trying to bring attention to his book' just by ignoring a question?
Fox news operates as a wing of the Republican party every single day. Calling what fox news does "news reporting" is ridiculous. It is 100% republican political propaganda.
I wonder if he would also criticize MSNBC and CNN for being wings of the Democratic party?
Do you say that CNN, MSNBC, ABC and CBS are all democrate political propaganda? I freely admit that Fox leans to the right. Will you do the same for the rest?
Thank goodness for FOX news and the internet because the liberal slant we constantly get from the media in this town is disgusting.
Fox isn't right leaning, its lying on the right ground! As an independent voter most of my adult years, I have watched Fox, MSNBC, and CNN. CNN is the most balanced of the 3. MSNBC makes some effort to give more than just the left leaning perspective. Fox makes next to no effort to give anything but the far right point of view. I recall the disrespect shown by Bill O'Reilly to President Obama during his interview! O'Rielly leaned forward in his chair and looked like he was ready to pounce on the President! Then in later interviews he drew attention to how he "stood up to Obama"! The author was right, Fox is the mouthpiece of the far right! But as Jack Nicolson said "the truth, you want the truth, you can't handle the truth"!! That's why the interview was ended!
buthead2 and mittsthezhit, don't stop there....everyone knows that the American lamestream media, including this Star and Tribune, are mouthpieces for the Left day in and day out. Everyone knows that.
The author is accused of coming on the air just to promote himself and his book? I'm shocked.
mittsthezhit...I am a Libertarian myself so I am not trying to stand up for any party here, but in my opinion CNN is in the pockets of both parties equally. If you watched the build up to the presedential election, each time they had a round table, they had 2 GOP strategists and also two DFL strategists including among the GOP a former top aid in the Bush administration. I actually think CNN is pretty balanced, although it does lean left a little bit. MSNBC. The problem with that comparison is that MSNBC does not market itself as "fair and balanced" as Fox News does but then report the news in a completely bias fashion towards one side. Their motto is "lean forward", it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand what they are saying there. They are out in the open as a Liberal channel, they admit it. Fox is still trying to take people for idiots by marketing itself as "fair and balanced". The main problem though is the 2 party system that all the major networks pander to. There is no mention of an alternative. No place for Libertarians like myself, people who believe in limited government across the board, not just socially like Democrats and not just fiscally like Republicans. If you stand for gay rights, gun rights, repealing Obamacare, legalizing weed, repealing the Patriot Act, Ending the Fed, Ending the TSA, Ending the war, internet freedom, auditing the IRS, vote Libertarian.
FOX news has been caught editing bits of tape to enhance their reporting. FOX IMO has not been a creditable news source since. Their reporting is right up there with TMZ.
