It's not a catastrophic government meltdown. Obama's henchmen do this every time they are low on cash. It's the SPENDING that's killing us!

I refuse to vote for anybody who has already made a pledge to an unelected person like this. That tells me they are unfit for office because they've already pledged their allegiance to somebody other than their constituents.

The time has come. The conservative dragon that grew way beyond it's effective size has been slain. It is now exhaling it's dying moans. William F. Buckley is spinning in his grave and the ghost of Reagan turns in shame. All the cups that were half emptied by the conservative zealots and mouthpieces are starting to turn half full. The fog is lifting and we see are way forward.

If Grover wants to effect policy in this country, he should put on his big boy pants and actually run for office.

Grover Glenn Norquist (born October 19, 1956) is an American lobbyist, conservative activist,[3] and founder and president of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR). According to an investigative report from the Senate Indian Affairs Committee on the Jack Abramoff scandal, released in June 2006, ATR served as a "conduit" for funds that flowed from Abramoff's clients to finance surreptitiously grass-roots lobbying campaigns.[28] Records show that donations from the Choctaw and Kickapoo tribes to ATR were coordinated in part by Abramoff, and in some cases preceded meetings between the tribes and the White House.[28][29]
