I've seen the base white model in stock at Target and Walmart the past two days, along with most of the accessories.

The deluxe black Wii U is the better deal for an extra $50, I too have seen plenty of the white basic U's around town. I remember Christmas 1986 when I begged my dad for the original Nintendo NES, he had to have my uncle in Chicago find and ship one here before Christmas Day, because he couldn't find one here. Ahhh memories.
