A little bit for everyone to like and hate in this. But at least the GOP is trying to stop unnecessary spending. What the article fails to mention are the unfunded mandates it puts on states. Nice unbiased headline eh?

BTW, there are nearly twice as many polar bears now as there were 20 years ago. Many quite close to MN in Churchill along with grizzly bears that are expanding their range far to the east. Native Americans made good money providing these hunts, as they did from baby seal skins and trapping. These traditions and sources of income are being lost because of radical animal rights activists who got these restrictions through Congress with emotional arguments in the first place. Drug and alcohol abuse fills the days and nights now. Liberal good deeds often have so many unintended consequences.

How could this story be published without mention of a price tag? Utterly amazing.

The "it spends too much money" excuse is a cop out. Bush tax cuts? Nope, it spends too much money. Education reform? Nope, it spends too much money. Business tax cuts? Nope, it spends too much money. Are you starting to get the gist of the "it spends too much money" excuse? Although it is good to keep an eye on the purse strings, there needs to be more than just "it spends too much money".

Shakespeare didn't go far enough when he said "The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers.". He left out politicians and non-profit advocacy groups. Bill G.

Once again, the party of no, shows it hasn't learned a darn thing and is hell bent on self destruction. I say good riddance.

The "it spends too much money" excuse is a cop out. Bush tax cuts? Nope, it spends too much money. ************ Tax cuts do not spend money, spending money is the major cause of spending money.
