Matt Spaeth is a great TE, he was smart when he went to play for the Steelers where he won A Super Bowl ring which is something he would never have accomplished if he played for the vikings!!! He will probably win a Super Bowl with the Bears sometime soon if he stays in Chicago and that is why he will never sign with the vikings because he knows they will never be able to win a Super Bowl.

Double team Allen on defense and you have all day to throw the ball. Cover the alleged wide receivers one on one, and concentrate on stopping/slowing down Peterson with the front, a linebacker, and a safety spying. I think 6-10 is becoming a more realistic prediction every day. PS.... Ponder and the offense should be glad this was played on the road.

GM should be held accountable. Bought the consensus and wanted one of the quote premium QBs from college. Probably wanted Locker first. He hasn't proven himself. When he was gone quickly took Ponder. He plays like the game is too fast for him. He looks nervous and makes me nervous watching him. Meanwhile the Bengals and SF pick QBs in second round that are poised and winners. You have a back up that you drafted to be a receiver. This may sound like Monday morning QB, but it just shouldn't be that complicated.

I have nothing really good to say about the Vikings, except kick field goals and lose. Walsh is a good kicker, but 3 points is not going to win games. Sound like maybe it is the coaching staff problem - get rid of Frazier and his offensive coaches. Anyone else joining me to watch either Payton or Eli Manning?

It's funny that we have not heard a peep from Harrison Smith after Sid crowned him the "Best safety in viking history". Everyone knew that Smith wouldn't hold up once the vikings began playing teams with winning records and having to play more games away from the from the HumptyDome. Smith has played so poorly in the face of even mediocre talent from the viking's opponents that he will soon be benched. So much for the "Best safety ever"!!!

Memo to Wilf....Time to blow up this organization. Prove to the fans you are committed to winning a Super Bowl. Hire Bill Cowher as GM/coach. pay him whatever he wants. let him run the team and you stick to your real estate. You got your new stadium so how about rewarding Minnesotans. How about it Wilf!

I think Ponder needs a new position. Cut your losses, try him at wide receiver. He can't do any worse. Hard for the brain trust to admit they made an error with him.
